The Arnprior Duplicate Bridge Club (ADBC) has been in continuous operation for more than 50 years!
The level and experience of players ranges from “OMG I’ve always wanted to learn Bridge. Sign me up!” to ”OMG! Isn’t that guy on the National Team?” Of course we are proud of the quality of Bridge, but what makes the Club work is the foundation of friendship, respect, and hospitality.
There are more than 400 people on our email list. We sponsor regular online games, special events, regular in-person games on Mondays and Fridays, and teaching/learning sessions on Friday mornings.
Community Partner
The Arnprior Bridge Club is a proud community partner. Over the years, we have donated more than $50,000 to organizations including the
- Arnprior Hospital,
- Hospice Renfrew,
- Arnprior Library,
- Civic Centre,
- Humane Society,
- Food Bank,
- Fountain, and
- Arnprior Dragon Boat Festival.
Tournaments
In May of this year, we will host our 18th annual tournament. The Arnprior Sectional has been described as the best-run tournament in North America Bar none. When we started eighteen years ago, we attracted 500 players for the 3-day event. This year, we expect more than 1,600 players from as far as Montreal, Kingston, and North Bay. Players are attracted by the high-quality Bridge, warm welcome, abundant free snacks, and delicious on-site meals.
Location
Our club is located at 5102 Highway 17, Arnprior, ON. There is easy access for players coming from Carp, Kanata, and Almonte and there is plenty of free parking.
